National Archery in the Schools Program Grant
C.E. Budd physical education teacher Tom Fisher received a $2500 grant from the Ohio Division of Wildlife to obtain equipment for a National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). As a certified instructor, Mr. Fisher will use a curriculum which meets or exceeds national physical education standards with core content covering archery safety, equipment, technique, mental concentration and self-improvement. Nearly 700 Ohio schools participate in the NASP, making Ohio the second largest NASP program in the nation, right behind Texas.
