2015-16 Ohio High School Robotics Championship

Team 598A Named State Runner-Up and Qualifies for WORLD Championship!

Congratulations to Team 598A - Joshua, Max, Coleton and Tristan - for their 2nd place finish at the Ohio State Vex Robotics Championship! The Redbirds were named runner-up among the 181 teams participating at the state event. This second place showing also qualified them for the 2016 Vex WORLDS, a gathering of the top robotics teams from around the world! Among the countries represented at the WORLDS competition will be the United States, China, Australia, Singapore, the U.K., Thailand, Japan, Turkey, New Zealand, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Chile, and Taiwan. The WORLDS tournament will be held April 20-23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

Team 598A will be busy fine tuning their bot since they will be making an appearance at the U.S. Open Competition also to be help in April in Iowa. At both upcoming contests, all teams will compete in the "Nothing But Net" game. The team is advised by science teacher Josh Miller.
