LHS Boys Basketball Teams Play in Hoosier Gym

On Saturday, November 18, the Loudonville freshman, junior varsity, and varsity boys’ basketball teams traveled to Knightstown, Indiana to scrimmage the Clear Fork Colts in the famous Hoosier Gym.  The gym was made famous by the film classic “Hoosiers” in 1986 featuring Gene Hackman who portrays a failed college basketball coach that gets a chance to redeem himself coaching a high school basketball program.

Coach Seboe and Clear Fork varisty coach Steven Bechtel arranged for the teams to rent the gym which now serves as a museum and community center.  Each team brought their own coaching staff, supporters, scorekeepers, and Coach Seboe arranged for three local refs to work the game.

While there, the teams visited the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and the 9,000 seat New Castle High School gymnasium.
