Pomerene Hospital has partnered with the Loudonville-Perrysville Schools to support our newest STEM initiative. Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year all 8th grade students will spend 12 weeks as "Medical Detectives". The course is one of three Project Lead the Way's Gateway classes offered at L-P Schools. Pomerene Hospital has generously paid for all of the required course materials totaling $6,020.00. They have additionally offered on-site tours as well as professional in-class speakers. Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Tony Snyder and Business Development Liason, Mrs. Charese Botjer presented the check to Superintendent John Miller at the April 10, 2017 school board meeting. Mr. Miller also received a lab coat embroidered with the Pomerene Hospial logo and the L-P Redbird logo. Lab coats will be provided to the students to wear during the Medical Detectives class.
