Pickleball

The LHS Class of 2024 is hosting a Pickleball Tournament as part of their senior class project to support the LP School Foundation.  The event will be held Saturday, April 27, at the Loudonville Pickleball Courts located at the Loudonville Swimming Pool Complex.  In the event of inclement weather, the tournament will be held Sunday, April 28.     

The tournament will offer five divisions, with 10 teams per division:

  • Beginner/Intermediate Men's Doubles

  • Beginner/Intermediate Women's Doubles

  • Intermediate/Advanced Women's Doubles

  • Intermediate/Advanced Men's Doubles

  • Intermediate/Advanced Mixed Doubles

The brackets of each division will be two pools of five, with round-robin play.  The two highest scoring teams will compete for a game trophy.  Games will be played on five courts with 15 minutes of play.  Time of play and bracket information will be released Thursday, April 25, on the school website, on the LHS Redbirds Instagram app, and the Loudonville-Perrysville Schools Facebook page. Please be prepared to play at any time past 10am.  

Registration Information

  • Registration deadline is Friday, April 19

  • Register on or before Friday, April 5, for $25 per person per event

  • Register after Friday, April 5, for $30 per person per event

Payment Information

  • CASH OR CHECKS MUST BE RECEIVED BY WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24TH TO PARTICIPATE

  • Checks should be made payable to LP School Foundation

  • Mail to LP School Foundation, P. O. Box 73, Loudonville, Ohio 44842-0073

To play, fill out the appropriate registration form below as well as the liability form.  Please note:  all players are required to complete the liability form prior to participating and we ask that you register as a team.  You may print the form and include it with your payment or forms will be available the day of the tournament. T-shirt information is included in the registration links and shirts will also be available to purchase the day of the event with limited sizes available.    

The senior class is extremely hopeful for a bright and sunny day.  In the event that the tournament will be delayed and played on Sunday, and you and your teammate are unable to attend, full refunds will be offered.  If you choose not to be refunded, your donation will be greatly appreciated.  

Sponsorship Information

If you would like to support the Class of 2024 and sponsor their tournament, the class is looking for court and t-shirt sponsors, as well as donations for their project. Please complete the sponsor form and mail to the LP School Foundation prior to Monday, April 1.

The class invites families and community members to come and enjoy the fun on the sidelines.  The concession stand will be open and restroom facilities will be available.  Bring your chair, root for your team, and plan to have a good time!
