The Mohican Area Community Foundation is celebrating 51 years of a Mohican heart. They are asking for your help to continue to provide money for our local organizations.
Your pennies and other loose change can once again provide funding for local charities offering services in our community that encourage academic excellence, support youth sports programs, scouting and recreation, and healthy and family services as well as help preserve our area's historic past.
The Foundation is reaching out to every student to ask their families, neighbors, and friends to donate their spare change and deposit it into special canisters in each classroom. Each gift is a valued donation. The campaign will run until February 13.
Donations will be tallied and the winning classrooms will be recognized. As an added incentive, the Foundation will provide a free pizza party, courtesy of Trails End Restaurant for the top homerooms at McMullen and Budd and donuts and juice will be awarded to the top high school classroom.
The Foundation thanks you in advance for your support.
