The LHS Homecoming is planned for Friday, October 10, with the REDBIRDS battling the Cardington Pirates with kickoff at 7pm. Prior to the game, the annual Homecoming parade, led by the LHS band, will step off at the C. E. Budd school at 6pm and will march to REDBIRD stadium. The Queen and her Court will be honored and student floats will be judged with the winner announced.
LHS students recently voted and selected this year's Homecoming Court. Freshman Attendant Katelynn Endslow, Sophomore Attendant Phoebe FitzSimmons, Queen Candidates Bekah Carroll and Mya Vermilya, Senior Attendant Aubrey Strouse and Retiring Queen Addison Wolford will be cheering on the REDBIRDS!
On Saturday, October 11, the Homecoming Dance will be from 7-10pm in the LHS gymnasium. Students will be able to purchase tickets Tuesday, October 7 - Friday, October 10. Pre-sale tickets: $8.00 for single or $16.00 for couple. All tickets at the door will be $10.00 each.
If a student would like to invite a guest from another school, a guest authorization form must be completed and returned to the high school main office by Wednesday, October 8. Students should see Mrs. James for a form.
