Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff has always been and will continue to be our top priority. To reinforce this commitment, today, at Loudonville High School, we are conducting a planned safety drill in collaboration with the Loudonville Police Department and the Ashland County Sheriff’s Department.
An important part of that practice is communication. In the event of an actual emergency, our first priority will always be to secure the premises and ensure the safety of everyone on campus. Emergency communication will be done via email, text, and/or phone.
Periodic practice of safety procedures is critical for preparedness and prevention. These drills allow us to assess our protocols and ensure that our school community is ready to effectively respond to potential emergencies. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our local safety forces, whose collaboration is crucial in protecting our students and staff.

Redbirds, we need your help!
The proposed legislation in Ohio House Bills 96 & 335 threatens the future of public education in our community and across the state. Here's what’s at stake for Loudonville-Perrysville Schools:
🔹 $1.17M annual funding loss for LP Schools
🔹 Larger class sizes, fewer staff, and limited opportunities for students
🔹 Restricted local control over funding and decisions
🔹 Elimination of vital property tax funding without state replacements
Our students deserve strong, well-funded schools. These changes hurt not only our classrooms but also libraries, parks, and essential local services. Read the full message from Superintendent Allerding on our website at: https://www.lpschools.k12.oh.us/article/2277869

What a memorable day for the Class of 2025! 🎓 LP Schools hosted its first Senior Class Walkthrough this morning.
The Seniors walked the halls of LHS one final time while the band performed, and underclassmen and staff cheered them on. Chief McCulley escorted the buses through town to the next stop - Budd! There, they walked the halls and finished with a look at pictures of our Seniors when they attended Budd. Their final destination was where it all began for many - McMullen Elementary School! Students and staff at McMullen celebrated the graduates, cheering them on all the way to the playground!
The Class of 2025's only request for the walkthrough was to finish on the playground, so that's what we did! Congratulations, Seniors! It was a fun day celebrating you!
