It is Homecoming Weekend, Redbirds! Join us tonight before the football game for the HOCO parade. The parade will start at 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Budd and go all the way to the high school. Community members and fans are invited to join us downtown to watch the parade, enjoy the floats and cheer on our Redbirds on the way to the game. They take on Danville at 7 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!

Students used their artistic and writing skill to share what they did this summer at Budd Elementary.

Superintendent Jennifer Allerding received a grant from the Loudonville-Perrysville Schools Foundation to use at her discretion. With the goal of creating positive experiences for our Redbirds, she used some of the funds to purchase a Gaga Pit for the students of Budd Elementary. Students were surprised at recess this past week with the brand-new gaga pit. It is a huge hit!
Stay tuned for how the remaining funds are being spent in order to create opportunities for positive school experiences.

A reminder to our McMullen and Budd families! Picture day is tomorrow September 20.

We are so excited to welcome our new Redbird Staff for the 2023-2024 school year!

A gym full of Redbird spirits, is a gym ready for volleyball! Catch the next home game on September 19. The 8th grade team starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by varsity at 7 p.m.

Redbird reminder, September 15 is a two-hour late start!

Mr. Brumfield has introduced video announcements this year at McMullen! Daily announcements are made, shout outs to staff are shared, students cheer to acknowledge their classmates, safety procedures are discussed, the daily joke is popular, and Mr. Brumfield and Mr. McCaskey welcome guests to visit.

A few important dates to keep in mind for September!

This year, the Loudonville Perrysville Exempted Village Schools purchased three new school buses to make sure students get to and from school safely. We’re looking forward to a successful school year with these added resources. Thank you for your continued support! Go Redbirds!

Every year, McMullen Elementary begins the year with a flag raising ceremony. The tradition continued this year!

Ms. Hinkle's classes spent time creating positive message posters to spread kindness throughout the halls of McMullen Elementary.

Happy Labor Day, Redbirds!

Friendly reminder, Redbirds! There will be no school on Monday, September 4, in observance of Labor Day.
