The proposed project is estimated at $69,204,575. Approximately 29% of this total, or $15.5 million, will be funded by the state. Additionally, the district will contribute $2.5 million from its Construction and Renovation Fund and secure $10 million through Certificate of Participation loans. These loans will leverage $970,000 in annual revenue generated from property tax reappraisals. Combined, the state and the district contribution will fund 41% of the overall costs. The remaining local share of $41 million will be financed through a combination of a 6.62 mill property tax and a 0.25% income tax levy.

Several changes differentiate this proposal from the previous one. The addition of a 0.25% income tax is projected to generate $4 million, while the property tax millage has been reduced from 10.243 mills to 6.62 mills, representing a $12.5 million reduction to the overall cost. The plan also removes certain features, such as the metal roof, rubberized playground, and administrative building renovations, from the overall Master Facilities Plan.
