Remember, it's all about the #RedbirdSpirit! Let's show our girls how much the Loudonville-Perrysville community supports them. See you at the game! 🏀🔴

The Leo Club is hosting a free Senior Breakfast on Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

Here's to the heroes without capes 🦸♂️ — a big shoutout to our Director of Building and Grounds, Shayne McCaskey, and our amazing maintenance team for their hard work at Budd. And, a special thanks to Ms. Switzer's fifth-grade class for showing unparalleled teamwork and flexibility amidst the unexpected. ✨
After reporting a strong sewer odor, the fifth grade class was temporarily evacuated and relocated from their classroom, while the maintenance team worked to locate the problem. With some demolition and movement of necessary classroom technologies, the maintenance team was able to identify the source of the problem and will be working to get the classroom back in working order. The student's will remain in their temporary location until the work is complete, and our hope is to have the classroom repaired and ready for students and staff in the very near future!
Thank you to our Redbird staff and student for handling the unexpected with determination and grace!

Congratulations, Redbirds! These young men are advancing to Districts on Friday and Saturday for wrestling. Best of luck!!

In March of 2024, the district will be on the ballot for the renewal of a 1.5 mill permanent
improvement levy for a five-year period. Should it be renewed by taxpayers, this will generate approximately $297,000 per year, continuing to fund vital repairs and maintenance as it has since its passing in 2013.

Mark your calendars! Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year begins March 1. Students must be five years old on or before August 1, 2024 to be eligible for kindergarten.

It is FFA Week, and we are excited to be making progress on the Loudonville High School Greenhouse project! The old structure was demolished this week and the construction on the new greenhouse has begun.

Last week, the new door was installed at McMullen! Using dollars from the Ohio K-12 Safety Grant, the district installed the door to create a safer visitors entrance. Guests will now go directly into the office when visiting McMullen.

Reminder, Redbirds! There is no school on Monday, February 19, in honor of Presidents Day.

It's School Resource Officer Day! And, we are so excited to welcome our new SRO Linda Goetz. We are so grateful for Officer Goetz. We look forward to our student getting to know her! Thank you to Officer Kick and Officer McClellan for assisting through the transition. The Loudonville Police Department is an incredible community partner and continue to be on our campus for all sorts of things including drop off and dismissal, events and more.

As we close out School Counselor's Week, we want to take a moment to appreciate the incredible work our counselors do each and every day. We are so grateful for the mentoring and counseling they provide for our Redbirds - and they do it all with grace, understanding, and a genuine love for education. 🍎
Happy #SchoolCounselorsWeek! 👏
