Our sixth graders traveled to the nearby Round Lake Camp on May 9-10 for an outdoor education experience. The students participated in different activities, including fishing, birding, a pond study, canoeing, team building, a campfire, relay races, a silent disco and a leadership talk. Even though there were constant rain showers on the first day, our sixth graders persevered through the activities and rounded out the trip with great weather on day two.

During our June Board of Education meeting, the Board approved a Resolution of Necessity for Bonds declaring it necessary to go on the ballot for constructing, furnishing, and equipping a new PK-12 building. This resolution followed a recommendation from the Facilities Task Force in May on a Master Facilities Plan in culmination of months of work in partnership with Garmann Miller.
