Yesterday we celebrated Unity Day! Members of our newly formed Budd Hope Squad created and ran lessons with their peers. The group discussed what Unity Day is and how to deal with and address someone who is bullying others. They also completed some team-building activities with their peers and created a unity paper chain with everyone in the school. Each student had to write something that you can do to make our school a more safe and inclusive place on the orange strips to create a unity chain.
Great work to our Hope Squad in leading these lessons and working to make Budd a more inclusive school!

It's Ohio School Safety Month, and a key part of our school community is School Resource Officer Ben Kick! His role goes far beyond security; he is a daily positive presence in our halls, building strong, trusting relationships with students. From joining a game of dodgeball to simply being available for a conversation, Officer Kick creates an atmosphere where students feel comfortable and supported.
We appreciate his commitment to being a positive role model and a trusted adult for our students!
