Monday, February 9th - Hawaiian Day. Wear your best Hawaiian outfit to school and embrace a day of warmth, connection, and hope. The Hawaiian theme symbolizes resilience and togetherness, reminding us that even in tough times, brighter moments and supportive connections can bring comfort and joy.
Tuesday, February 10th - Come to school in neon colors and be a light in someone’s dark place. Neon symbolizes hope, visibility, and unity, reminding us that even in the darkest moments, we are not alone, and brighter days are possible.
Wednesday, February 11 - Teacher Student Swap Day - Dress like your teachers, and teachers dress like students for a day of laughter and connection! This fun role reversal fosters empathy, approachability, and a sense of belonging, reminding everyone that they are seen, valued, and supported.
Thursday, February 12th - Show your school spirit by wearing your Redbird gear and celebrating the Loudonville community! Redbird Day fosters belonging, unity, and hope, reminding everyone that they are part of something bigger and never alone.

Gratitude is meant to be shared! Recently, the Budd School Hope Squad created a graffiti wall of gratitude in the auditorium, and we are so grateful for their continued work to spread kindness and positivity in our schools! What is something you are grateful for?

The Hope Squad, which started this fall, is designed for students in grades 4-12, fostering genuine connections, encouraging kindness, and creating a safe space for students to speak up, especially when it comes to bullying and suicide prevention.
