Mapleton, Redbird Nation is with you. Please continue to keep all those affected by this tragic loss in your thoughts and prayers.

Our students our gearing up for the Loudonville Fair! Join us next week for a variety of student displays, performances and showings. We are looking forward to celebrating everyone's hard work!

It is important to get our students moving! There are many activities throughout the day that get our students out of their seats and active.

Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball team! Tonight they put the finishing touches on a 3rd straight Mid-Buckeye Conference championship!

Wendy Lemon from the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County meets with our students frequently to engage students in lessons to build healthy habits and discuss the negative effects of drugs and alcohol. The Too Good for Drugs program is offered in partnership with the Ashland County Council of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse as a part of their prevention program for K-12 education in Ashland County.

Congratulations to this year’s Loudonville-Perrysville All-Sports Hall-of-Fame inductees!
This year’s class spans over 80 years and features standout athletes from Loudonville and Perrysville, as well as some of our most successful coaches and generous contributors who have been vital to the success of our athletic department over the years.
The ceremony on December 16th will take place during a boys and girls basketball triple-header in The Cage at LHS. We hope that Redbird Nation will come out in full force to honor these men and women who have provided us with so many great memories!

It is Homecoming Weekend, Redbirds! Join us tonight before the football game for the HOCO parade. The parade will start at 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Budd and go all the way to the high school. Community members and fans are invited to join us downtown to watch the parade, enjoy the floats and cheer on our Redbirds on the way to the game. They take on Danville at 7 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!

Students used their artistic and writing skill to share what they did this summer at Budd Elementary.

Superintendent Jennifer Allerding received a grant from the Loudonville-Perrysville Schools Foundation to use at her discretion. With the goal of creating positive experiences for our Redbirds, she used some of the funds to purchase a Gaga Pit for the students of Budd Elementary. Students were surprised at recess this past week with the brand-new gaga pit. It is a huge hit!
Stay tuned for how the remaining funds are being spent in order to create opportunities for positive school experiences.

A reminder to our McMullen and Budd families! Picture day is tomorrow September 20.

We are so excited to welcome our new Redbird Staff for the 2023-2024 school year!

This year, the Loudonville Perrysville Exempted Village Schools purchased three new school buses to make sure students get to and from school safely. We’re looking forward to a successful school year with these added resources. Thank you for your continued support! Go Redbirds!
