Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, October 31 and Thursday, November 2. Please contact your child's teacher for questions or to schedule. As a result, November 2 will be a remote day for K-3 students, and a one hour early release for 4-12 students. There will be no school on November 3.
The Ashland Symphony Orchestra will be performing at the Ohio Theatre this Sunday at 2 p.m. All students 18 and under are free! You are sure to have a JOYful time!
Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village School District would like to honor the veterans of the Loudonville and Perrysville communities by offering complimentary yard signs to the veterans in our communities.
Signs can be picked up at any of the following locations:
- School Offices: Yard signs can be picked up at any school office between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
- Loudonville American Legion and Perrysville VFW Post 8586: Signs are also available at the Loudonville American Legion, located at 131 S Water St., and the VFW Post 8586 in Perrysville, at 2802 County Road 917, during their regular hours of operation.
The 2023 Ashland County Women of Achievement inductees have been announced! Included in the recipients are Loudonville-Perrysville agricultural science teacher, Kendra Carnegie, and LHS senior, Corri Vermilya, who will be honored during the ceremony as a recipient of the Young Women to Watch award. A special congratulations to Kendra, Corri and all who are being honored!

Fall play season is here! The junior high drama club will perform "A Night with O. Henry" including 3 of his short stories: "The Cop and the Anthem", "The Last Leaf" and "The Gift of the Magi" on October 19, at 7 p.m., at Ohio Theater.
The high school will also hold their first production of the year, performing "Christmas Belles" on October 21, at 7 p.m., and October 22, at 2 p.m., at Ohio Theater.

The Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village School District (LPEVSD) will seek a levy renewal on the November 7 ballot. The Future Farmers of America (FFA) Greenhouse Project in the Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village School District (LPEVSD) is advancing agricultural education with strong community support. This initiative aims to provide students with opportunities for practical experiences and valuable knowledge, helping to shape the district's agricultural instruction.
The project will replace the current greenhouse with an ample classroom space and more accessible and flexible space for potting, hydroponics and aquaculture. This not only continues the promise of agricultural education but also enhances the opportunities for LPEVSD students to learn about plant life and sustainability for decades.

The Loudonville Fire Department visited our McMullen students to talk about fire safety! Students got a first hand look at the fire truck, dressed their teachers in fire gear, enjoyed a visit from Firefighter Tuffy and shared an ice cream treat. Special thanks to the Loudonville Fire Department for helping keep our Redbirds safe!

She had the opportunity to talk about the great things taking place in the district, areas of focus for the year and the future of the LPEVSD.
