Excitement is in the air in Mrs. Reisinger’s Kindergarten class! Our students are witnessing the magic of life firsthand as baby chicks hatch right in their classroom. From tiny cracks in the eggs to fluffy new arrivals, this hands-on science experience is sparking curiosity, wonder, and lots of smiles!

We were thrilled to welcome Rita (Mrs. Layton) the Reader as a special guest in Mrs. Brown’s classroom this week! Rita captivated our students with an engaging read-aloud session, sparking laughter, curiosity, and meaningful discussions. Guest Reader visits like this one help foster a love of reading and show students the joy that books can bring. Thank you, Rita, for sharing your time and love of reading with us!

Our McMullen kindergartners stole the show last night with their musical performance of Arf!—a tail-wagging, toe-tapping celebration of all things dog! Their energy, enthusiasm, and adorable costumes had the whole audience smiling. Great job, Redbird performers—we’re so proud of you!

✨ Mrs. Stitzlein’s class brought the myth of King Midas to life with an engaging Reader’s Theater performance! With strong voices, expressive reading, and a touch of golden drama, these students reminded us all of the power of storytelling. 💬📚🎭

Our McMullen 3rd graders took the stage last week and crushed it! Between the dance moves, singing, and a few proud waves to the crowd, it was a performance to remember. Huge shoutout to our amazing music teacher, Ms. McClintock for musical magic—and thanks to all the families who showed up to support our students!
(Pretty sure we’ve got a few future stars in the mix…)
